Current limiting reactors produced by Shanghai Zhiyou, a well-known Chinese reactor manufacturer,XKGK,XKGKL series current-limiting reactors are connected in series with the system circuit to strengthen the system impedance.Reduce the short-circuit current in case of malfunction with the system, which will lower the fault current to the allowable value.

The conventional system voltage includes 6KV, 10KV, 20KV, 35KV, 66KV, 110KV, and the conventional rated current includes 400A, 500A, 600A, 800A, 1000A, 1200A, 1400A, 1600A, 2000A, 2500A, 3000A, 3600A, 4000A, 4500A, 5000A, 6000A, 7000A, 8000A, 10000A, 12000A, 15000A, 20000A.
The advantages of dry-type air-core reactor
1.High mechanical strength to withstand elevated short circuit forces.
2.Isothermal design method which ensures windings in all layers are the same with respect to the temperature rise.
3.Low noise level for noise sensitive applications.
4.Low eddy-current loss.The winding is wound in parallel with small diameter aluminum (copper) conductor of multiple dielectric layers, greatly reduce eddy current loss.
